DESCRIPTION:In this talk we will show how you can apply the MATLAB Technic
 al Computing Workflow to a medical image segmentation problem. You will se
 e how you can both explore and experiment in an intuitive way\, as well as
  going on to develop useful batch processing tools that can be distributed
  to non-MATLAB users. We will explore some of the most useful tools in MAT
 LAB's Image Processing Toolbox and touch upon some of the more advanced ap
 plications for visualisation and analysis. We will also look at easily par
 allelising your algorithms for high performance using Parallel Computing T
 oolbox.
