DESCRIPTION:The topic of my PhD thesis (due to be submitted soon) will be 
 secondary explosives\, specifically RDX and HMX. I would like to present a
  summary of the work that I've done and what I found out over the past thr
 ee and a half years on my journey through my PhD research. The ignition me
 chanisms of RDX and the beta-delta phase change in impacted HMX will be th
 e major subjects discussed.
