DESCRIPTION:The Gould Belt Survey is a project to map a large number of ne
arby star-forming molecular clouds\, and includes a range of environments
 – from the energetic clustered Orion cloud to the low-mass cool Taurus c
loud. It will use HARP and SCUBA-2 to make velocity-resolved measurements
of molecular gas and to map the dust continuum respectively.\n\nI will pr
esent some new SCUBA-2 data that I have reduced\, as an example of the fin
ished maps that we produce. I will also present a comparison on HCO+ and
HCN emission\, which traces the dense gas in star-forming regions.\n
