DESCRIPTION:In the context of AdS/QCD\, it was proposed that the melting p
 rocess of mesons in quark-gluon plasma may be modeled by perturbative moti
 on of a probe brane in the asymptotically AdS black hole background. We st
 udy dynamical phenomena induced by thermal quench within this setup by sol
 ving dynamics of the probe brane numerically. As a result\, we find a new 
 transient phase which was dismissed in the previous studies on static syst
 ems. We argue its implications to the bulk gravity and dual field theory.
