DESCRIPTION:Entanglement is a characteristic property of quantum systems.
In a relativistic quantum field theory\, even the vacuum state is entangle
 d. Quantifying the amount of entanglement between different regions of spa
ce gives fresh insight into the nature of quantum field theories\, and of
the many-body condensed matter systems whose long-distance physics they ca
pture. \nIn this talk I show how various measures of entanglement can be c
omputed using the Feynman path integral approach\, and describe various an
alytic results that have been obtained both in two\, and higher dimensions
  of space-time.
