DESCRIPTION:Paul Ingram is BASIC’s executive director\, developing BASIC
 ’s long-term strategy to help reduce global nuclear dangers through disa
 rmament and collaborative nonproliferation\, coordinating operations in Lo
 ndon and Washington. In particular\, he leads on BASIC’s work as host to
  the BASIC Trident Commission in London\, and BASIC’s NATO programme\, l
 ooking to reduce the Alliance dependency upon nuclear weapons. He is also 
 involved in BASIC’s work on the diplomacy around Iran’s nuclear progra
 mme\, and promoting a WMD-free zone in the Middle East. Paul’s areas of 
 expertise are Global nuclear disarmament strategies and agendas\, US and U
 K nuclear weapons decisions\, NATO’s nuclear posture\, Iran’s nuclear 
 programme and diplomatic attempts to control it.
