DESCRIPTION:Bio: \n\nSanne de Wit graduated in Biological Psychology at th
 e University of Nijmegen in 2002\, and then received a scholarship to obta
 in her PhD degree at the Dept. of Experimental Psychology\, University of 
 Cambridge\,.  Her PhD project was supervised by Prof. Anthony Dickinson\, 
 and concerned the associative and neural mechanisms mediating goal-directe
 d action\, habits\, and response conflict resolution (in animals). Followi
 ng several postdoc positions\, she was appointed as university lecturer at
  the Dept. of Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam in 2011. 
 Her current research focuses on associative and neural mechanisms of goal-
 directed and habitual action control in humans\, and the disruption of act
 ion control in psychopathologies (such as drug abuse\, obesity and obsessi
 ve-compulsive disorder). \n
