DESCRIPTION:This talk consists of two parts\, (1) an overview of Music Inf
 ormation Retrieval\, where artificial intelligence meets musical sciences 
 in recognizing what's inside a piece of music\, with emphasis on recognizi
 ng musical chords using custom made feature extraction and sequence-based 
 data modeling (Hidden Markov Models). (2) an overview of how well privacy 
 settings of people on Facebook are predictable\, and how we can build a pr
 ivacy recommender system.
