DESCRIPTION:The AIM lab is glad to host here Miles Wright\, the CEO of Xan
 ofi Inc. As part of his visit to Cambridge he will give a seminar on Techn
 ology and Entrepreneurship: "Nanofiber production\, scale-up\, commerciali
 zation and applications". It will tell about the history of the breakthrou
 gh shear nanospinning method which is by far the most efficient nanofiber 
 fabrication method. It will also detail some of the challenges (both techn
 ical and business) that had to be overcome to make it into a viable commer
 cial technology. \n\nThe lecture is open to the public and everyone intere
 sted is welcome to attend.\nPeople interested in meeting with the speaker 
 should contact the talk organizer.\n\nSpeaker's bio:\nMiles Wright\, CEO o
 f the nanotechnology company Xanofi\, is a successful business and entrepr
 eneurial leader. Miles has founded five separate companies\, served as CEO
  of two others\, and participated on several company boards. For the last 
 six years he has worked to commercialize advanced technology as Executive-
 in-Residence at North Carolina State University. He has co-founded two non
 -profit groups and continues to be actively involved in community organizi
 ng and relief programs. \n
