DESCRIPTION:In this talk I shall discuss the growth\, from the free bounda
 ry\,for solutions to the p-obstacle problem. I shall unveil a  surprising 
 behavior for the p-elliptic case\, and also discuss some strange behavior 
 for the p-parabolic case. A "healthy" exercise\, in  the latter case\, is 
 to find two different growth rates\, for Barenblatt solution\,  at differe
 nt free boundary points. This is joint work with John Andersson and Erik L
 indgren.\n
