DESCRIPTION:I will give an overview of recent joint work with S. Filippini
  and M. Garcia-Fernandez\, in which we construct a rough but rigorous appr
 oximation of the four-dimensional tt*-connections of mathematical physics\
 , and study two of their scaling limits. A first "conformal" limit recover
 s certain results of Joyce and Bridgeland-Toledano Laredo\, while a differ
 ent "large complex structure limit" relates to tropical curves in the plan
 e and (thanks to work of Gross-Pandharipande-Siebert) to tropical/GW invar
 iants.\n\n\n\n
