DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we will give an overview of the basic theory of
  monoidal categories with a particular emphasis on the categories of monoi
 ds/comonoids and modules/comodules. We will discuss the various notions of
  monoidal functors and their properties\, and spend some time on the free 
 monoid construction vs cofree comonoid construction. Time permitting\, we 
 will have a look at enrichment relations that arise between these categori
 es of 'dual flavor'.
