DESCRIPTION:Statistical analyses rely upon assumptions. When these assumpt
 ions are not met we may \ndraw erroneous inferences. Statistical model cri
 ticism / checking procedures attempt to test these assumptions \nand give 
 insight into how a statistical model might be expanded to better capture a
 spects of the data. I will discuss \nclassical diagnostics for linear regr
 ession\, Bayesian model criticism procedures and some advanced methods.
