DESCRIPTION:We're delighted to welcome Dr Keith McNeil\, CEO of Addenbrook
 e's to come and talk to our members in June.\n\nAn internationally recogni
 sed expert in the fields of lung transplantation and pulmonary vascular di
 sease\, Keith was appointed as chief executive in November 2012. He joined
  CUH from one of the largest health services in Australia – Metro North 
 Health Service in Brisbane – where he had been CEO since 2008. As CUH ch
 ief executive\, Keith oversees how the Trust is managed\, ensuring patient
 s receive high quality safe care. His role also means that he is accountab
 le for the financial management of the Trust and for its strategic develop
 ment.\n\nKeith spent two years as a senior transplant fellow at Papworth H
 ospital and a further five years working jointly at Papworth and CUH as a 
 cardio-pulmonary transplant and respiratory physician and director of the 
 pulmonary vascular disease unit. During this time\, Keith was pivotal in e
 stablishing the UK’s centre for pulmonary endarterectomy at Papworth and
  was an adviser to the Department of Health on pulmonary hypertension.\n\n
 Keith began his chief executive career in 2007 in his native Australia at 
 the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital\, a 980-bed teaching hospital\, 
 one of the largest teaching hospitals in the southern hemisphere. In 2008 
 he was appointed professor of medicine at the University of Queensland.\n\
 nKeith also served in the Australian Special Forces where he was trained i
