 s\, that is on the mathematical analysis of shock diffraction by convex co
 rnered wedges. The existence of the regular configuration is established u
 p to the critical wedge angle\, which should be the criterion of the trans
 ition between the regular configuration and the Mach configuration. This w
 ork is joint with Prof. G.-Q. Chen.\n
