DESCRIPTION:The symposium will consist of 9 high quality papers in the bro
 ad area of corporate finance theory (including corporate finance interacti
 ons with financial institutions and financial markets). \nFranklin Allen (
 Nippon Life Professor of Finance\, The Wharton School\, University of Penn
 sylvania) will be the Keynote Speaker of the symposium. \n\nThe symposium 
 will be held at the Judge Business School in Cambridge\, UK on 19-20 Septe
 mber 2014. The symposium is sponsored by the Cambridge Endowment for Resea
 rch in Finance (CERF). Participants are expected to cover costs of travel 
 and local expenses. Costs of speakers and discussants from academic instit
 utions may be reimbursed by the organizers upon request (economy class tra
 vel). No conference fee will be charged. \n\nApplications\n Attendance is 
 by invitation or prior registration only. Please register with admin@cerf.
