DESCRIPTION:One of the main aims of regenerative medicine is to make uncom
mitted stem cells develop into specific tissues or organs\, so that they c
an be used to restore normal body function. In this talk Jim Smith propose
s that the best way of doing this is to recapitulate the events of early e
mbryonic development\, and illustrates the idea using frog embryos and hum
 an embryonic stem cells.
