DESCRIPTION:Leadership is an art rather than a science\; it is not just ab
 out process and procedure\, it is about communication\, influence\, teamwo
 rk and the ability to inspire and motivate others. It is about keeping you
 r eyes open and your hands off rather than your eyes down and your hands o
 n. It is about asking the right questions rather than searching for or pro
 viding the right answers.\n\nDuring this workshop you will find out what m
 akes a great leader\, gain an understanding of your own leadership style a
 nd its associated strengths and weaknesses\, learn how to how maximize you
 r own potential and how to motivate the different types of people.\n\n*Dr 
 Robina Chatham* BSc PhD MBCS CEng FIMechE qualified as both Mechanical Eng
 ineer and Neuroscientist. Positions which she has held range from Project 
 Manager within the shipbuilding industry to European IT Director for a mer
 chant bank and Lecturer at Cranfield School of Management.\n\nRobina now r
 uns her own consultancy and training company and is a Visiting Fellow at C
 ranfield School of Management. Her prime focus is on helping senior manage
 rs to develop political acumen\, to master the art of influencing others a
 nd hence increase their personal impact at board level. In 2008 Robina was
  a medallist for the BSC IT industry award “IT Consultant of the Year”
 . Robina has authored three books _“Corporate Politics for IT Managers: 
 How to get Streetwise”_\; _“Changing the IT Leader’s Mindset: Time f
 or Revolution rather than Evolution”_ and _“30 Key Questions that Unlo
 ck Management: How do I… ”_.
