DESCRIPTION:Chander will discuss two empirical studies on business model i
 nnovation. The first study addresses the question of how the degree of bus
 iness model innovation affects the survival of new firms. The second study
  examines the relationship between the degree of business model innovation
 \, owner–managers and competition. The studies use a dataset on the fina
 ncial services sector developed from survey and archival sources. Chander 
 would like to open a discussion on developing novel datasets for studying 
 business model innovation in the technology and manufacturing sectors.\n\n
 Chander's research interests are primarily on innovation and technology ma
 nagement with a specific focus on exploring the antecedents and consequenc
 es of business model innovation.\n
