DESCRIPTION:This event sees the *launch of the Humanitarian Centre’s 5th
  Cambridge International Development Report*\, which offers insight\, disc
 ussion and suggestions on how to improve global food security. This year\,
  we are joined by the 4th Liberated Feast.\nThe event includes:\n\n*a beau
 tiful\, three course\, vegan meal made entirely of surplus produce that wo
 uld otherwise be wasted* \n\n*a mini ‘marketplace’ with stalls full of
  local produce and organisations helping to fight poverty*\n\n*a live perf
 ormance from the Flamin’ Junes*\n\n*Key speakers on sustainable food and
  our Global Food Futures and the release our the Cambridge International D
 evelopment Report.*\n\nTickets are £10 and are available from this link h

 oceeds from the event go to supporting a school feeding project on for the
  Milimani School on Kenyas Rusinga Island. Raising funds to build\, staff 
 and support a kitchen to provide the children's entire daily nutrition and
  create a school permaculture food growing space. The cost is £5000 and s
 o far the Liberated Feast have raised £1000 and are already supporting th
 e schools breakfast feeding programme. The Liberated Feast Project is also
  developing an educational programme\, working with schools and communitie
 s to explore the global food system and create their own Liberated Feasts.
