DESCRIPTION:The Africa Research Forum (ARF)\, is an interdisciplinary disc
ussion group for graduate students\, postdoctoral researchers\, visiting a
cademics\, and Cambridge University faculty members doing Africa-related r
esearch. Participants from academic disciplines across the humanities and
social sciences are welcome to attend our informal meetings. Rather than p
olished seminar papers\, we prefer rough ‘works-in-progress’\, which a
re pre-circulated a week ahead of the group discussion to enable participa
nts to have enough time to develop constructive comments.\n\nThe current c
onvenors of the ARF are Dr Zoe Groves (zg242@cam.ac.uk)\, an historian and
a Fellow at Peterhouse\, and Dr Ruth Watson (riw21@cam.ac.uk)\, another h
istorian based at Clare College. Please contact Zoe or Ruth if you would l
ike to share your research work with us\, we’d be happy to hear from you
. If you would like to receive notifications of upcoming presentations and
copies of pre-circulated papers\, please sign up "here":https://lists.cam
