 us disease has been around for quite a while now. Mathematical biologists 
 have developed a world of intricate models including things like distribut
 ion of household sizes\, population flows such as commute to work\, airlin
 e transportation networks\, seasonal and climate factors and what everyone
  had for breakfast. So we know in glorious detail how a decent pandemic ou
 ght to spread\, right? Thing is\, no one told influenza what it was suppos
 ed to do."\n\nThe talk will be followed by a discussion by a panel of curr
 ent students with experience of working across fields in the Sciences. Que
