DESCRIPTION:Recent research at the University of Sheffield has focussed on
  the accurate measurement of the near field loading from both free air hig
 h explosive blasts and explosives shallowly buried in soils.\nThe talk wil
 l focus on the original aims of the program along with the results from a 
 3 year test series looking at the impulse output from buried explosives. I
 t will then look into more detail at the temporal and spatial distribution
  of loading from the work currently being done and ramifications there of.
