 nt to know how to turn it into reality?* Get creative and explore your bus
 iness ideas at our workshop. It’s an opportunity to get inspiration\, in
 sight and advice about your business venture or project as well as a taste
  of what you learn on the Cambridge Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneursh
 ip (PGDE) programme.\n\nWe hope that by discussing these questions with ot
 hers who are thinking of joining the Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurs
 hip as well as some of our faculty\, alumni and mentors\, you will become 
 inspired to push ahead with your venture and to use the programme as a pla

 , Chief Executive Officer and President of *Horizons Discovery* and CfEL E
 ntrepreneur-in-Residence\, about his successful entrepreneurial journey. D
 arrin is a life scientist who has been involved in the start-up and growth
  of numerous business ventures. He has a track record of raising c. $200 m
 illion business financing from grant\, angel\, corporate\, venture capital
  and public market sources as well as closing c. $350 million of product\,
  service\, and licensing deals. In 2012\, he was named Business Leader of 
 the Year at the European Life Science Awards\, in 2014 was named Executive
  of the Year at the Scrip Awards (a global award recognising leadership in
  biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies) and in 2015 was named UK Quot
 ed Company Entrepreneur of the Year. During this interview\, he will talk 
 about what inspired and influenced him as well as the skills he sees as im
