DESCRIPTION:*Do you have the spark and ambition to be an entrepreneur? Are
  you ready to take the next steps to making your business innovation a rea
 lity? Then sign up to Ignite!* The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning's I
 gnite programme will run from *Sunday 5th July* to *Friday 10th July 2015*
  at Cambridge Judge Business School.\n\nIgnite opens the door once a year 
 to the prestigious Cambridge High Technology Network with experienced entr
 epreneurs available to help individuals access the right skills\, funding 
 and networks to make their innovations a commercial reality. It is an inte
 nse\, one week training programme for aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate
  innovators which attracts a diverse range of projects broadly categorised
  as being from the high-tech sector or life sciences sector. A blend of pr
 actical teaching sessions\, expert clinics\, mentor sessions and experienc
 ed advice and support provide the tools\, contacts and confidence to trans
 form ideas into successful business projects or ventures. Find out more at

 rt contributors:*\n\nOne of our core values is to involve experienced and 
 new entrepreneurs\, practitioners and service providers in the delivery of
  all programmes\, as they have the credibility to teach entrepreneurship t
 hrough sharing their own experiences and knowledge and inspiring future en
 trepreneurs. This creates direct links between students and the business c
 ommunity. There are 80-100 contributors to the Ignite week including exper

  founder of Analysys and co-founder of Abcam\; Jamie Urquhart\, Pond Ventu
 res\; Pawel Piotrowicz\, Venner Shipley LLP \; David Gough\, First Instar 
 Ltd\; Susan Dixon\, Legal Surfing\; Paul Webster\, Ubisense\; Darrin Disle
 y\, Horizon Discovery\; John Read\, CYAN Technology plc\; and Jane Dancer\
 , Cellzome (UK) Ltd. All the contributors are actively involved in the cre

 5*.\n\n*Mentor Scheme:*\n\nIn addition\, the Centre for Entrepreneurial Le
 arning (CfEL) has introduced a new mentor scheme to provide structured sup
 port to entrepreneurs after completing the programme. Delegates have the o
 pportunity to become members of the scheme\, for a fee\, in order to conti
 nue their access to networks\, investors\, relevant training and/or events
  over a further six month period. \n\n*Track record of success:*\n\nCfEL h
 as been running this programme for over ten years with increasing success.
  Over *747* participants from *26* countries across Europe\, Asia and Amer
 ica have attended Ignite since the programme started. The alumni are made 
 up of people from various disciplines and industry sectors ranging from bu
 siness management\, computer science\, electrical and electronic engineeri
 ng\, mathematics\, physics\, and sociology through to biology\, chemistry\
 , genetics\, material science and plant science. It is estimated that appr
 oximately *170+ business ventures* have been created by Ignite alumni and 
 are still up and running. Based on a 2013 alumni survey\, more than *£120
  million* in funding has been raised by Ignite alumni ventures and approxi
 mately *2500+ jobs* were created from 2011-2013.  \n\n\n
