DESCRIPTION:So you’ve established a conversation with your industrial co
llaborator and agreed that your research is potentially valuable to them (
maybe by using the approach discussed in a recent Collaboration Skills sem
 inar https://engineerimpact.wordpress.com/2015/04/03/what-might-your-techn
ology-be-worth/).\n\nBut how do you get your Industrial Partner to really
see the potential and buy into working with you? How do you build a team
with a shared view? How do you get them excited and on board? \n\nDr Nick
y Athanassopoulou has been running roadmapping workshops for several years
helping research teams and their partners build a shared picture of where
the research might lead and how it might be used.\n\nSo come along to lea
rn how roadmapping can be used to build commitment. We will also run an e
xercise with the technique to bring the session to life.\n\n*Roadmapping t
 o build buy-in from Industrial Partners*\nDr Nicky Athanassopoulou \n30th
 April\, Engineering Department\, Trumpington St\n\nLunch at 12:00\, discus
