DESCRIPTION:In this talk we introduce the field of General Relativistic Ma
 gnetohydrodynamics (GRMHD) and give an overview on recent efforts toward s
 imulating and visualizing astrophysically realistic gas dynamics around co
 mpact binaries. In particular we motivate the approach where a post-Newton
 ian expansion is used to construct an analytic spacetime\, and show prelim
 inary results of circumbinary disks surrounding equal-mass non-spinning bl
 ack hole binaries.
