DESCRIPTION:Science\, technology\, engineering and mathematics (STEM) are 
 fields at the heart of innovation and the UK’s economy\, yet the recent 
 YouGov research shows that\, according to both businesses and academics\, 
 nearly 60% of employers of STEM graduates think there is a skills gap in B
 ritain. What policy interventions are needed to maintain the UK as a futur
 e STEM leader? At this event\, a panel of leaders will discuss the vast nu
 mber of areas of policy\, from education to immigration\, which affect the
  STEM job market and status of the UK from the perspective of academia\, i
