DESCRIPTION:The one-day Global Food Security Cambridge Symposium 2015 is a
 n opportunity to learn about the multi-disciplinary food security research
  taking place in the University\, and explore ways in which collaboration 
 across disciplines can bring greater impact. Speakers from all Schools in 
 the University will be addressing a wide range of topics including:\n\n•
  Political economy of agriculture in Africa\n• Water-land-energy nexus a
 nd the food system in Uganda\n• UK-India food supply chains: sustainabil
 ity and food security\n• Translating basic research on insect-plant inte
 ractions to aid in protection of beans in East Africa\n• Role of NGOs in
