DESCRIPTION:THIS TALK WILL BE IN ENGLISH\n\nWhen you think "EU" you should
  think "science"\, because that is where the EU is world-leading. Science\
 , in turn\, is critical for the type of sustainable economy that we need i
 n the 21st century. The EU is currently boldly investing in science with t
 argeted support for mobility\, networking\, business linking and attractin
 g global excellence to the continent with well-branded fellowships. The UK
  does particularly well out of the EU's growing programme\, especially whe
 n UK investment in science is stagnating. If the UK were to pull out of th
 e EU in a "Brexit"\, there is little chance it could re-negotiate such a s
 weet deal as it has now. The EU science vision is simply key to UK science
