DESCRIPTION:Our Device Analyzer project has collected Android usage data f
 rom more than 20\,000 people around the world. We have a huge range of con
 tributions ranging from days to years. I'll describe some of the studies t
 hat have been done with the data covering tracking security vulnerabilitie
 s\, movement patterns\, WiFi channel allocation\, SMS message lengths\, an
 d session durations. We are actively sharing the data with other researche
 rs and I'll explain how this process works and what we've learned from it.
 \n\nThis is a practice talk which I'll be giving (repeatedly) in the US ne
 xt week.
