 emannian space forms -- in particular\nclassical surface classes such as c
 onstant mean and Gauss curvature surfaces\nand their relatives --\n underw
 ent a revival towards the end of the last Century\, enabled by new\ntechni
 ques\nfrom modern geometric analysis on the one hand\, and from integrable
  systems\ntheory on the other.\nI will talk about some recent trends\, inc
 luding new techniques from\nintegrable systems that\nallow one to easily c
 ompute and visualize many new examples.
