DESCRIPTION:The University of Alberta is home to one of the largest games 
 research groups in the world. This talk gives an overview of projects that
  are related to the game of Go\, including: the world`s strongest solving 
 engines for Life-and-death (tsume-Go) and safety-of- territory\, novel app
 roaches to using reinforcement learning and planning in Go\, and work on a
 lgorithms for combinatorial games with the long-term goal of developing a 
 strong Go endgame player.
