DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we will explore the direction in which the deve
 lopment of network protocols is headed\, and discuss the numerous suggesti
 ons from the networking community to improve the current state of the art.
  We will talk about novel methods of transmitting data\, the emergence of 
 new media and layouts for protocol headers and addresses\, and approaches 
 to handling internet traffic in the Internet of Things era. We will delve 
 into details of several esoteric and largely underrated protocols\, and de
 scribe their potential for changing the world we live in.
