  heart of being a practicing process engineer. This talk will aim to addre
 ss through real industrial examples how this can be done\; and some key le
 arnings that may be drawn. The speaker will also attempt to illustrate the
  different approaches to technical uncertainty/risk management that can be
  applied at the various stages of the product/process development lifecycl
 e from discovery/R&D through to final commercialisation.
