DESCRIPTION:\nOverconsumption of food and drink – alcoholic and non-alco
holic – are major contributors to preventable illness and premature deat
h worldwide. Much of this consumption is cued by stimuli in our environmen
ts\, often without our awareness. Size - including the size of portions\,
packaging\, plates\, glasses and other tableware – is one such cue. This
talk will summarise the evidence for these effects and our relatively lim
 ited understanding of them.\n
