DESCRIPTION:The James Lind Initiative (JLI) is responsible for developing\
 , maintaining and evaluating two web-based teaching and learning resources
  – The James Lind Library (www.jameslindlibrary.org) and Testing Treatme
 nts interactive (www.testingtreatments.org). After reviewing briefly how t
 hese two websites have been developed\, this talk will focus on the involv
 ement of the JLI in evaluating the impact of these and other teaching and 
 learning resources in promoting understanding of key concepts for assessin
 g claims about the effects of treatments.
