  in Stokes flows. Properties of low dimensional chaos and Stokes flows wil
 l be introduced using demonstrations to highlight pertinent points. This w
 ill be followed by a discussion of an apparently simple system of spheres 
 in syrup which exhibits low counterintuitive phenomena embedded with its r
 ich solution structure."\n\nProfessor Mullin is Professor of Physics at th
 e University of Manchester and Director of the Manchester Centre for Nonli
 near Dynamics. His primary research interests are in bifurcation phenomena
  in viscous flow fluids.
