DESCRIPTION:This Saturday\, Ven. Jue Yun from London Fo Guang Shan monaste
 ry will proceed with her explanation of the Noble Eightfold Path. The Nobl
 e Eightfold Path forms the core of Buddhist philosophy\, applicable to all
  practitioners at different levels.  It covers three major aspects: panna 
 (wisdom)\, sila (ethics or morality)\, Samadhi (concentration) which are i
 nterlinked and can be practiced simultaneously. This particular session wi
 ll focus on the aspect of 'ethics' and 'concentration'. \n\nThe talk will 
 be conducted in English\; it is free and open to all. \n\nThis is the thir
 d of a series of four talks happening on Saturdays\, 3-5 pm. The talk is a
 ccessible and is ideal for those seeking a basic introduction to Buddhist 
 philosophy. Practicing Buddhists are also welcome to refresh their knowled
 ge of Buddhism and gain new insights.
