 in the age of anti-politics\n\nThe 2016 Antcliffe Lecture with Tristram Hu
 nt MP\n\nTristram Hunt is Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent Central. From Octob
 er 2013 until September 2015\, Tristram served as Labour's Shadow Educatio
 n Secretary focusing on developing Labour's policy on teachers' profession
 al development\, vocational education and early years education.\n\nSpeaki
 ng in the aftermath of the General Election results\, he called on Labour'
 s ruling National Executive Committee "not to rush our election"\, saying 
 there was time for a "brutal post-mortem" about Labour's "underlying philo
 sophy and thinking".\n\n\n\nThe lecture will take place at 5.30pm in the W
 instanley Lecture Theatre at Trinity College\; it will be followed by a sh
 ort question and answer session\, and a drinks reception.\n\nTo register y

  who studied History at Corpus Christi College\, Cambridge\, before going
