DESCRIPTION:This talk is a part of a special Meditation Retreat organized 
 by the Cambridge University Buddhist Society. You are welcome to join the 
 whole event (which starts at 9.00 am)\, a part of it\, or just the talk. T
 he whole event is free and open to all.\n\nThis event is led by Ven. Dr. K
 hammai Dhammasami\, from Oxford Buddha Vihara. This is an opportunity to l
 earn and practice several meditation techniques including  mindfulness and
  kindness cultivation.\n\nAbout the speaker:\n\nVen. Dr. Dhammasami is an 
 excellent meditation teacher who is originally from Myanmar. He has been a
  Buddhist monk for over 30 years and has been teaching in the UK since 199
 6. He gained his PhD from University of Oxford and also worked as a member
  of the Faculty of Theology at Oxford. He serves as the abbot of Oxford Bu
 ddha Vihara and is engaged in regular meditation teaching in many places i
 ncluding Singapore\, Malaysia\, Germany\, Hungary and Serbia.\n\nThe progr
