DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Cambridge Assessment Conference is to raise fun
damental issues about assessment and its use in modern education systems.
In 2007\, the theme of the conference will be the use of e-assessment and
the likely impact that it will have on education. In thinking about e-asse
ssment\, what can we say about where we might be in the next five years? W
here might we not be in the next ten years? As one of the speakers said in
our first conference\, it is often not a question of being clear about th
e technological solutions but about what we want. This third conference wi
ll provide an opportunity to debate that and other issues which surround t
he issue of e-assessment. The conference will be open to anyone who wishes
to attend. Application forms will be available in the early part of 2007.
