DESCRIPTION:Dyslexia is the specific learning difficulty which has the hig
 hest incidence. 10% of the population are dyslexic\, 4% severely so. It is
  incumbent on all those who work in the public arena to have a working kno
 wledge of dyslexia\, its manifestations and how its characteristics can im
 pact on the lives of people. It is well documented that what is good pract
 ice for dyslexic students is good practice for all students. Any organisat
 ion wanting to become dyslexia wise is therefore meeting the needs of the 
 majority of people with whom they come in to contact. This seminar will fo
 cus on the importance of being dyslexia wise and will provide practical so
 lutions to becoming dyslexia friendly.
