DESCRIPTION:There are mammals\, fish and amphibians…and then there’s t
he duck-billed platypus. There have been various attempts to design a defi
nitive taxonomy of item types\, most recently to examine ‘drift’ in ex
aminations in Northern Ireland. There are various functions to which taxon
omies can be put. This is a genuine seminar – based on open exchange –
designed to explore the issues in moving towards a taxonomy for use in de
velopment\, management and research at Cambridge Assessment.
