DESCRIPTION:The field of anomalous diffusion can be very polarising\, with
some saying that there is little basis for such studies in biology to tho
se saying most of spatial crowding effects lead to these ideas.&nbsp\; Thi
s presentation &nbsp\;will be mainly extempore and off the top of my head
but I will try to put some of these ideas in context\, warts and all.&nbsp
\; I will then branch off into such esoteric fields as fractional differen
tial equations\, fractional stochastic differential equations\, Poisson ta
u leap with memory\, fractional Poisson processes\, Mittag Leffler waiting
times and finish with a new Poisson tau leap method for anomalous diffusi
ve effects. This will be very much seat of the pants and I hope there is l
 ots of discussion.
