 val aims to encourage young people to study science\, technology\, enginee
 ring and maths subjects further at school and University\; and to engage w
 ith the public of all ages on topics of scientific interest and concern. T
 he Cambridge Science Festival is the UK’s largest free science festival 
 and offers a great opportunity for families to come and see scientific dep
 artments at the University opening their doors and running educational and
  fun events.
