DESCRIPTION:Structures are shown to emerge in large random networks\, unde
r variable
constraints\, when examined at large scale. They are&nbsp\;a
utomatically created
by the coalescence of nodes into a small number&n
bsp\;of equivalence classes\,
which must cooperate to create structure
in order to satisfy the constraints.
The&nbsp\;structures change grad
ually as constraints vary within a phase\, and
change sharply at phase
&nbsp\;transitions.

This talk is based on joint work with Richard K
enyon\, Kui Ren and Lorenzo Sadun.

Related Links

<a target
