DESCRIPTION:Over the past two decades\, there has been significant effort 
 to develop soft materials exploiting the self-assembly of short peptides f
 or biomedical applications including application as 3D cell niches. Here I
  will describe our platform technology for the design of 3D scaffolds whos
 e properties including mechanical strength\, function and response can be 
 tailored to accommodate different cells’ needs and direct the differenti
 ation of stem cells into a variety of specific lineages. This will have de
 monstrated via a number of specific pre-clinical applications.
