DESCRIPTION:We will discuss some progress on the construction of p-adic L-
 functions associated to modular forms. More precisely\, we will show how t
 o associate\, to a modular form\, a (partial) p-adic L-function. This cons
 truction is based upon Kato's Euler system and a generalization of Perrin-
 Riou's work for bad reduction motives. If time allows it\, we will discuss
  about the functional equation satisfied by these functions and give some 
 application.
