DESCRIPTION:As we progress towards more and more interactive systems\, com
 puter graphics and computer representation of our world continue to grow i
 n functionality as well as complexity. But increasing complexity requires 
 sophisticated space-oriented data structures and algorithms to capture\, s
 tore\, manipulate and process data. In this presentation\, we explore such
  structures in some detail and try to understand how they achieve a balanc
 e between space and time bounds whilst supporting complex operations.
